The CRD Core Program previously supported younger dancers in the early stages of their training.
As CRD has evolved into a fully integrated Institute model, the program is being phased out to allow for a more focused training environment within our area of specialization.
CRD now operates with a specific emphasis on dancers aged 12+. This allows the Institute to maintain a contained environment with direct faculty oversight and a clearly defined developmental structure.
Institute admission is typically offered beginning at age 12 with some exceptions at age 11.
Students who are not yet at Institute entry age may continue to enter through the existing CRD Core pathway for a limited period.
• This pathway remains in place through the 2027–2028 season • After this point, all new enrollment will take place at the Institute level
Families with younger dancers are encouraged to pursue strong foundational training within programs designed specifically for that stage of development.
For those considering CRD in the future, we welcome inquiries as dancers approach Institute entry.
