Our Commercial/Competitive Program is built for dancers (ages 12+) who want real-world versatility, not just trophies. Powered by our proprietary Technical Conditioning class (exclusive to CRD), dancers achieve the strength, precision, and injury resilience of our classical training, while spending less time in traditional ballet formats. Instead, ballet is strategically woven into the program to directly support commercial styles with relevance and efficiency.
With instruction in authentic commercial genres, our dancers gain a skill set that transfers far beyond the competition stage. Yes, they are often recognized and win at competitions—but not because we train for competition. Our students do well because we train beyond it.

Each dancer's schedule is reviewed and customized by our director to match each student's individual goals. Age ranges are a guide only and student's may participate in classes with both groups to create the ideal training schedule.
An audition is required for all Competitive/Commercial Division dancers to train at CRD. Dancers may participate in both the Competitive/Commercial and Ballet Divisions. If accepted into the school after an audition, you would consult with our director to manage both tracks.
*NOTE: The intensive program for dancers under 11 is the Core Training Group C which prepares dancers for future specialization in Ballet or Commercial Tracks.

45 Min classes- $60 MONTHLY
60 Min classes- $75 MONTHLY
90 Min classes- $105 MONTHLY
*CRD provides a tuition cap at 10 hours of weekly instruction (meaning regular tuition will not exceed $750+GST monthly).
OTHER FEES
- Registration Fee-$50, 1x per year due at time of registration
- Costume rental- $75 per costume (recital and/or competition group costumes)
- Year End Performance Tickets $25 (approx.)
